Santa Nella

We had a great time at John and Jennie's and the BBQ was very yummy! Fried chicken, steaks, scalloped potatoes, butternut squash and apples that was to die for, a very yummy tomato, mozzarella cheese and basil salad....so OFF Weight Watchers, but who cares?? There's always tomorrow! And it was so great to see everyone! Lisa was given all kinds of attention and even a few gifts. She took over the den with her coloring and even had her own TV in there!
Spent all day here in the KOA.....we were gonna go swimming, but the wind came up, it looks like rain and it's COLD!! Crazy! We did get some basketball in and Lisa played on the swings. Alan royally trounced me in a game of pool....as per usual! :0)  He also discovered a hidden treasure in one of the basement compartments. (see pic of long boxy thing). This box thingy pulls out and there is a 6 foot collapsible ladder in it! We have been carting around one tied to the back (which is a pain), so we'll probably get rid of that one, I think. Irie loves her dog park and just runs and runs! I made up a batch of bubbles for Lisa, but it's so windy they just dash away from her.....we'll keep that for a nicer day.
We are off to Yermo tomorrow...hope this wind dies down overnight. I hate driving in heavy winds.
